Sensing of ferromagnetic code wheel by change of magnetic field – Hall effect principle

Dynamic differential sensing

SENSOR OUTPUT:

The rectangular shape of the output signal corresponds to the course of the shape of the sensed code wheel

The sensor detects the direction of rotation of the code wheel for the START/STOP function

Switching of output to “HIGH” upon passage of the leading mechanical edge of the code wheel
